Makten bakom showen, primärval i USA

Det är en sensationell politisk show iscensatt inför primärvalen i USA. Media rapporterar som om det redan vore ett presidentval, och all bevakning på makten är bra kan man tycka om det inte vore för att rapporteringens "vassa" innehåll liknar mer om en fotbollsmatch än en upplyst, grävande och behövande analys av det politiska. "Hillary gör comeback" basuneras det ut av samma journalister som en dag innan grävt hennes grav.

En som gör ett försök till analys är författaren Richard K. Moore som skriver om makten bakom presidentvalen i USA och gör också en prognos om eran Post-Bush. Han spetsar till ordentligt och lägger en konspiratorisk ton i prognosen men analysen är hundragånger mer intressant än att följa en undermålig och småaktig bevakning av en "politisk" show.

Richard K Moore menar att den egentliga makten finns hos de som äger och kontrollerar The Federal Reserve. En liten maktelit som har trådar ut i media, underrättelsetjänster och Pentagon, WTO och Bilderbergers. Bush och neocons har varit ett redskap (tools-of-the-day) för denna maktelit. "The neocons have accomplished much for their elite puppeteers, and have been given in return free reign to loot at will, funneling all those billions for the Iraq War into their own corporate coffers and investment portfolios. They for their part have established the foundations of a fascist state in the US and Canada, secured Iraq’s oil reserves, built permanent forward mega-bases in Iraq, successfullly destabilized Iraq and prepared it for balkanization, secured pipeline routes in Afghanistan, restored the profitable opium trade, and made progress toward achieving the first-strike capability that will be needed when the time comes to take on Russia and China."

Prognosen för perioden efter Bush är att nästa administration kommer att fokusera på klimatfrågan "I suggest that we can see the focus of the next US administration by paying attention to Al Gore. He’s going around preaching the gospel of climate change, and that is rapidly becoming the new cause celebre for the ‘international community’. It’s more than a campaign by Gore, we’re seeing a campaign being supported by the mass media, by the powers that be. We are clearly being prepared for a ‘new show’, after the ‘Bush show’, and the ‘new show’ is going to be about carbon taxes and credits, new energy sources, more efficient cars, biofuels, and all those other things that are allegedly related to climate change and peak oil".

Moore menar att den nya administrationen kommer att ta hem enkla poäng genom att få bort det mest vidriga i Neocons agerande som Guantanamo och de hemliga flygningarna med kidnappade fångar. "Iraq has already been destabilized and prepared for balkanization, and permanent US bases have already been built. Another easy win will be for US troops to withdraw to their bases and the oil fields, for the war to be declared over, and for Iraq to be split up into ethnic provinces, leaving them to squabble among themselves. It can all be portrayed in the media as a ‘victory for peace and democracy’."
